The emoji in question immediately went viral on a Twitter post. Understandably, it has garnered a fair bit of outrage from members of the LGBT community, as well as its allies. This celebration is held at different times throughout the year in across different cities and countries, generally at a time that commemorates a turning point in a that region's LGBT history. An anti-gay flag emoji has been circulating on Twitter and Instagram for a few days now. Rainbow Flag, Kiss between Two Men, Kiss between Two Women and other relevant emojis for Pride, the name given to the celebration of self-affirmation, dignity, equality, and increased visibility of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people.
